Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Looplet is for sharing photos with a few people you choose. This policy explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, where it's kept and who can see it.
The short version
- Photos, voice replies and messages go only to the people in the Loop or chat you pick.
- Memories are found on your iPhone. Contacts are read on your iPhone. Neither is uploaded.
- No ads, no selling your data, no third-party ad tracking.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time: Me → Delete account.
Who we are
“Looplet”, “we” and “us” mean the team that makes the Looplet iPhone app and runs loopletplus.pages.dev. Questions about this policy or your data: tuyetnt6134@icloud.com.
What we collect and why
Your account
You sign in with Apple (and, where offered, Google or your phone number, verified by SMS through Google Firebase). With Sign in with Apple we receive an Apple user identifier, and your email address only if you choose to share it, which may be an Apple private relay address. We use this to create your account and keep you signed in.
Your profile
- Display name, shown to the people in your Loops and chats.
- Birth year, used only to check that you are at least 13 years old.
What you share
When you use Looplet, we store the following on our servers so it can reach the people you chose:
- Photos you send to a Loop, and their captions
- Emoji reactions
- 3-second voice replies
- 1:1 messages, including replies to a moment
- Your Loops, who is in them, and their invite codes
This content is delivered only to the members of that Loop or chat, using short-lived links. Photos in your Just me Loop are backed up privately so they survive signing out; only you can see them.
Typing preview
If “Show text while typing” is on, the person you are chatting with sees your text as you type it. You can turn this off in Me; they will then only see “typing…”.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, we store your device's push token so Apple Push Notification service can deliver alerts such as a new photo or a reply.
Safety
If you report a photo or message, or block someone, we store that report or block so we can review it, enforce our Terms and keep people safe.
Purchases
Looplet does not currently sell anything in the app. If we add in-app purchases, payment will be handled by Apple (we never see your card details) and RevenueCat will be used to keep track of your subscription status. We will update this policy before that happens.
What stays on your iPhone
- Memories. Looplet looks through your photo library on your iPhone to find moments and show them in a calendar. This happens on your device. Nothing from your library is uploaded unless you choose to send it to a Loop.
- Contacts. If you allow access, Looplet reads your contacts on your iPhone so you can pick who to send an invite to. Your contacts are never uploaded to us.
- Sensitive content. Looplet uses Apple's on-device Sensitive Content Analysis to blur explicit images. The check runs on your iPhone; images are not sent anywhere for it.
Where your data is stored
Our servers run on Render in its Singapore region. Photos and voice replies are kept in Cloudflare R2 object storage. These providers store and process data for us only to run Looplet. If you live outside Singapore, your data is transferred there.
Who can see what
- Loop members see the photos, captions, reactions and voice replies sent to that Loop, and your display name.
- The person you chat with sees your messages, and your typing if the preview is on.
- Just me is visible only to you.
- We access content only when needed to run the service, to review a report, or when the law requires it.
No ads, no selling
Looplet shows no ads. We don't sell your personal data, share it with advertisers, or use third-party ad tracking.
How long we keep data
When you delete a photo, message or other item, it disappears for everyone else right away. We keep it for up to 30 days as evidence in case it is involved in a report, then it is permanently erased. Reports and blocks are kept as long as needed to keep people safe.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time:
- Open Looplet and tap Me.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm.
This removes your account, your membership in every Loop, your photos and messages, and your Memories on the device. Your content disappears for others right away and is permanently erased within 30 days. Can't use the app? Email tuyetnt6134@icloud.com from your account's email with the subject “Delete my account”. More on the account deletion page.
Your choices and rights
- Choose who sees each photo when you send it, and delete what you've sent.
- Turn off notifications, Contacts or Photos access at any time in iOS Settings.
- Turn off the typing preview in Me.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, at tuyetnt6134@icloud.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and you can complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Looplet is not for children under 13. We ask for your birth year when you sign up and do not let younger people create an account. If you believe a child under 13 is using Looplet, tell us at tuyetnt6134@icloud.com and we will delete the account.
This website
loopletplus.pages.dev does not use cookies, analytics or trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs to run and secure the site.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
